DAS - Delayed Auto Shift
ARR - Auto Repeat Rate
SRS - Super Rotation System, specific to most modern Tetris games
ARS - Akira Rotation System, which is specific to TGM type games
TGM - Tetris Grand Master
GM - Grand Master
BB - Blockbox (www.gamepoint.co.uk/)
TOJ/TOP - Tetris Online Japan/Tetris Online Poland (http://tetrisonline.pl/)
TF - Tetris Friends (www.tetrisfriends.com)
TB - Tetris Battle (www.tetrisbattle.com - coming soon!)
C2 - Cultris 2 (http://gewaltig.net/)
ds (lower case) - Downstack
mini-combo - Term used to describe 4+ to 6 combos in TFO/TOP, as this sends the messiest garbage
bombo - (bomb combo, coined by SirJeivus in 2011) Refers to the art of making large (>8 combos) by destroying bombs
ttcomb - (TSD + Tetris combo, coined by es2mac in 2011)
ST Stacking - Strategy used to continuously do TSD with standing S on the left side of the field
LS - Lines sent, a term coined by the Taiwanese community denoting the amount of lines sent after the end of the match
LPM - Lines per minute, a unit of measure for someone's line clearing ability and an indirect measure for speed (TPM = LPM x 2.5)
TPM - Tetriminos per minute, a unit of measure for someone's speed (LPM = TPM/2.5)
PPM - Pieces per minute; outdated acronym used in 1990's Tetrinet2 game by St0rmcat
APM - Added lines per minute, a measure of one's attacking strength. APM = Lines sent/Total time in seconds x 60
Ren - Japanese term for combo, a measure of the max combo attained in a single game
APL - Attacks per line, a measure of one's efficiency given limited tetrimino resources
b2b - back to back, may often refer to one's ability to maintain back to back attacks
2w - 2 Wide
3w - 3 Wide
4w - 4 Wide
IC - Imperial Cross, a setup involving 2 TSDs, with the first having 3 rotations.
DT - Double Triple, a setup involving a TSD, then a TST. Otherwise known as a "Cannon"
TD - Triple Double, a setup involving a TST, then a TSD. Otherwise known as a "C-spin"
STSD - Super T spin double, a setup involving 2 TSDs, with the first T-spin rotating like a TST
TSM - T spin Mini
TSS - T spin single
TSD - T spin double
TST - T spin triple
MD - Misdrop
Finesse - The philosophy of minimizing user input keystrokes to move pieces
Wall Kick - using the wall to force spins of pieces
Line Clear Delay - How long the line clear animation takes place. In nullpo, this quantity is specified in milliseconds
Lock Delay - How long the "settling" of the piece takes. In nullpo, this quantitiy is specified in milliseconds.
